Show Wang is an associate in the New York office. His practice primarily includes preparation and prosecution of patent applications; advisement on IP portfolio growth, management, and licensing; and performance of IP due diligence.
Show has a wide breadth of interdisciplinary knowledge and experience, which enables him to use a first principles approach towards quickly understanding complex inventions in a wide variety of technological fields, including innovations in software, photonics, electronics and semiconductors, mechanical devices, and medical devices.
He has expertise in overcoming Section 101 subject matter eligibility rejections on software patent applications, particularly those involving applied machine learning, database improvements, user interfaces, distributed computing, network communications, transaction processing, video games, and virtual reality.
At Duke University, Show was part of a team that developed a low-cost prototype of a wireless EKG monitor on behalf of the Duke University Medical Center. During law school, Show externed at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
